Operations Area Leader - Entry Level

Job Overview:

This is a full-time, entry-level position located within one of Amazon's fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings. Amazon is looking for customer-focused individuals to lead a team of hourly employees across our Operations network! Our warehouses are dynamic environments where standing, walking, and engaging in on-the-floor conversations are essential as a supply chain leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, mentor, and motivate a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
  • Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
  • Maintain stamina to stand/walk during 12-hour shifts.
  • Be willing and able to work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
  • Oversee truck deliveries, manage the handling and sorting of packages using pallet jacks, and operate PIT equipment as needed.
  • Adapt to a varying noise level in the workplace.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and engage in physical activities such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Climb and descend stairs when required.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026. (Must have degree prior to starting).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Benefits:

Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and more. The base salary for this position ranges from $70,400.00 to $75,000.00 annually, depending on qualifications and location.
