Owner operators of box trucks/Semi truck for Amazon Relay must have truck

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced box truck (own truck)Truck Driver (own tracto)to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. This role requires excellent customer service skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and the ability to navigate various delivery routes while maintaining safety and professionalism. You must provide your own pallet jack.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for local deliveries and route driving
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers, maintaining excellent customer service standards
  • Verify delivery loads against manifests and ensure accuracy of shipments
  • Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving
  • Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory and organizing stock as needed
  • Document delivery activities accurately, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery driver roles
  • Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical work involving moving items or cargo
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities
  • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred
  • Valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
  • Good organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation

Pay: $1,800.00 - $4,300.00 per week
