Position overview

The Paid Media Manager will support the planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting of paid media programmes for clients. This role combines hands-on channel delivery with the ability to contribute to paid media strategy where appropriate, working in close partnership with Client Service and cross-functional teams.

This role requires a self-starter who can manage priorities independently, anticipate issues, and maintain delivery standards with limited oversight. This is a part-time / 3 days per week role.


Key responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise campaigns across paid social (Meta, LinkedIn) and Google Ads (Search and Display), as well as Amazon and Spotify ensuring performance and budget pacing remain on track
  • Contribute to paid media strategy and channel recommendations, including audience approach, channel mix, measurement considerations, and learning agendas
  • Develop media plans and campaign structures aligned to client objectives and wider omnichannel activity
  • Monitor KPIs and performance trends, identifying optimisation actions and communicating implications clearly
  • Provide timely performance updates, reporting, and commentary tailored to client needs (weekly/quarterly as required)
  • Maintain strong execution standards, including campaign QA, platform setup checks, and tracking hygiene in partnership with relevant teams
  • Support new business activity by contributing to paid media strategy, campaign architecture, and performance insights
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Client Service, Strategy, Creative, Operations) to ensure integrated delivery

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience managing paid social campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn), including optimisation against defined KPIs
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads (Search and Display)
  • Strong analytical capability, with confidence interpreting platform data and producing clear insights (Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Confident client-facing communication, including presenting recommendations and performance narratives
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
