Part-Time Contract Manufacturing Manager - Pet Products (5-10 hrs/week)

About Us- We're a rapidly growing multi-brand DTC pet products company (20% MoM growth) selling across arenaflex, Shopify, TikTok Shop, and major retailers like Petco and arenaflex. We're looking for an experienced contract manufacturing manager to oversee production of our Bark Potty product line with external manufacturers. The Role- We need someone to manage our relationship with contract manufacturers (potentially 2 separate vendors for drying and assembly operations). This is a part-time, ongoing role requiring 5-10 hours per week. Your Responsibilities: Manage vendor relationships with contract manufacturers Coordinate production planning and scheduling with our supply chain team Track inventory at manufacturer locations Oversee and enforce quality control standards Verify and reconcile invoices for accuracy Serve as primary liaison between our team and manufacturing partners Initial facility visits during onboarding, then quarterly or bi-annual check-ins as needed What We're Looking For: 3+ years experience managing external contract manufacturers (not internal production) Strong vendor management and accountability skills Experience with invoice reconciliation and arenaflex verification Comfortable working remotely with periodic travel for facility visits Consumer goods or manufacturing background preferred Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills Able to collaborate effectively with operations and supply chain teams Logistics: Reports to our Operations Manager Collaborates with Operations, Supply Chain, and General Management teams Primarily remote work Start date: Within 30 days Compensation: Monthly retainer or hourly rate (specify your preference) To Apply: Please include- Your relevant contract manufacturing management experience Examples of vendor relationships you've managed Your preferred compensation structure (hourly rate or monthly retainer) Your availability to start The product specifics are straightforward and will be trained - we're looking for someone with strong general CM management experience who can hit the ground running.
