As a Principal Strategic Advisor of Enterprise Strategy, you will serve as a strategic leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership, shaping enterprise-wide decisions and driving transformational change. Success in this role means you consistently navigate ambiguity, synthesize complex challenges, and deliver visionary strategies that influence the organization's long-term direction. You will lead high-impact initiatives, foster innovation, and ensure alignment across diverse stakeholders-helping the organization advance toward becoming a health solutions company. What You Will Do

  • Shape Enterprise Strategy: Drive the development of forward-looking strategies that anticipate market trends, regulatory shifts, and evolving customer needs.

  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Oversee complex, cross-functional projects that deliver transformative outcomes and position the organization for sustainable growth.

  • Deliver Executive-Level Insights: Translate data and market intelligence into compelling narratives and recommendations that inform C-suite decision-making.

  • Innovate and Design Solutions: Identify emerging opportunities, design innovative solutions, and build robust business cases to secure executive sponsorship.

  • Influence and Align Stakeholders: Build consensus across senior leaders and external partners, ensuring alignment on priorities and execution plans.

  • Guide Strategic Planning Cycles: Drive annual and multi-year planning processes, driving clarity and accountability across the enterprise.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).

  • 8+ years of experience in a related field.

  • In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in a related field.

  • Exceptional communication and executive presence.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep healthcare industry expertise and understanding of market dynamics.

  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization, analytics, and strategic modeling tools.

  • Experience at a top-tier consulting firm and/or clinical background (MD, DO, RN, PA, PharmD)

  • Track record of developing large-scale transformation initiatives.

Salary Range

At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.

*Based on annual corporate goal achievement and individual performance.

$130,560.00 - $208,896.00
