Job Description

pharma-insight is seeking a Qualitative Research Manager to join our market research team. The Qualitative Research Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple studies, both domestic and international, with a focus on online quantitative research. The Qualitative Research Manager will actively and directly manage all aspects of each project, to ensure successful project completion, on time and within budget, while meeting and exceeding client expectations. The Qualitative Research Manager will report to the Senior Research Director. The position is based in our Hilden office but is available on a remote basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Conducting qualitative market research studies in the fields of pharmaceuticals, OTC, medical technology & diagnostics is preferred but not essential 
  • Ideally, experience with quantitative market research studies
  • Project management, client briefing, discussion guide/ questionnaire creation, execution of individual interviews and group discussions
  • Conception, preparation and presentation of results reports
  • Cooperation with an interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

Education and Training Required:

  • Successfully completed degree in psychology, sociology, health economics, or a comparable field of study

Minimum Experience: 

  • Extensive professional experience (at least 3 years) in market research, ideally in the medical field

Knowledge, Skill, Ability:

  • Candidate will preferably have experience with a range of market research projects
  • The candidate must be a self-motivated individual with exceptional time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The candidate must multi-task and can work well under pressure
  • The candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The candidate has fluent English skills, both written and spoken
  • The candidate must have strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • This candidate is expected to demonstrate enthusiasm and pride in constantly improving the quality of our services
  • The candidate must have well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The candidate must have the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment to successfully meet departmental objectives
  • Native German language is a must
