Regional Sales Manager - Industry Experienced, 50% Travel, Home Base TBD

POSITION SUMMARY: Support the organization's mission to meet or exceed budgetary revenue and margin for the Company while providing exceptional owner/guest experience and outstanding customer service through the day-to-day workflow processes that impact the business. The Regional Sales Manager will provide strategic direction, leadership and development to all sales teams for the region. Expect to travel 50% of the time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS (up to five): 1. Provides support, mentorship, development and clear expectations to all sales Team Members and managers in each job related function; Supports the sales lines during the closing process to ensure sales budgets are met. Provides leadership and positive influence on the daily operations of all sales and marketing training programs within the region. Directs and strategizes with site Managers and Directors of Sales to ensure the sales operation is accomplishing objectives and defined sales goals while adhering to all policies and procedures. Inspect and monitor behaviors and processes of sales teams within the region. Share in the accountability for achieving the net sales budget for all sales lines by directly impacting sales results during each site visit. 2. Directly supports openings of all new sites in the region. Assists with the facilitation of training curriculums for continuous improvement of the various sales teams by evaluating Team Members. Consistently analyzes performance and partners with the site Managers and Directors to develop action plans for improvement. Delivers management training curriculum and partners with the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing Training to ensure established processes are being executed. Assists in the implementation and operation of sales motivation contests and special events/meetings and assignments. Ensures conformance of all Company and departmental standards, policies and procedures. 3. Ensures seamless communication between key leaders in the region. Identifies areas of improvements from owner/guest survey trends, secret shopper reports and site evaluations. Shares in the responsibility for the overall appearance of sales center and sales presentation materials. Assists all Team Members in the Sales & Marketing Operations to ensure all questions are answered in a professional, informative, diplomatic and correct manner. 4. Assists with the development of the sales budget for all sales lines within the region. Ensures maximum sales volume at minimum cost while executing on agreed upon staffing plans. Reviews sales performance against approved budget objectives. Maintains and constantly improves the Company's competitive position. 5. Assists in recruiting and selecting and developing the right Team Members for the right positions. Participate in panel interviews for all management positions and above. Participate/assist on special projects as assigned. Performs all other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing that are instrumental to a successful sales operation. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration preferred but not required. Director of Sales level experience or above preferred but not required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Timeshare Sales License required in NV, TN. QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have five years of industry sales experience including a proven track record of success in sales leadership, closing sales and training. Ability to travel 50% which will be dictated by business demands and site results. * Proven ability to develop strategic direction by analyzing current business results and anticipated business conditions. * Superb presentation skills with experience conveying information in a clear, focused and concise manner. * Strong and proactive decision making ability and strong problem resolution skills. * High level of goal orientation and advanced knowledge of sales concepts. * Experience identifying and resolving problems arising from employee relation issues, owners and guests, policy/procedural changes, etc. * Gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various problems, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. * Interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Maintain attention to detail and follow through. * Compelling leadership abilities. * Self-directed and independent but works as a team player. * Persuasive interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of an idea, plan, activity, service or product from owners, guests and co-workers. * Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and Company goals. * Excellent customer service skills. * Strong work ethic, high energy level and positive attitude. * Solid administrative, organization and planning skills. * Pursuit of continuous improvement, enhance or increase personal knowledge and skills that will assist on job performance. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to travel inclusive of airlines, car rentals and staying in various accommodations. WORKING CONDITIONS: The Regional Sales Manager position spends the majority of the time in a climate controlled environment. Travel conditions vary according to season.
