[Remote] Analyst, IMDC Capital
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst, IMDC Capital to join our Data Center Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and well-controlled financial management of global data center capital expenditures, acting as a key partner to Project Managers and Accounting teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end capital lifecycle, including supporting the monthly close process, performing Construction-In-Progress (CIP) reconciliations, and ensuring manual accounting entries for interest and labor are accurately recorded
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Fixed Asset Centers of Excellence, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to validate capital spend against forecasts and support management reporting
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations by maintaining rigorous capital finance documentation and supporting internal audit activities
Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in finance, specifically within real estate construction, capital deployment, or a large-scale multinational public reporting environment
- Strong knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP), the Construction-In-Progress (CIP) lifecycle, and fixed asset subledgers
- Proven ability in driving process improvements and automation between Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems and the General Ledger, while managing tight deadlines
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
