Are you a seasoned Medical Biller & Cash Poster with a knack for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced professional to join our team remotely. This is a contract-to-hire (also open to just contract) position where you'll have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic team that values your skills and expertise. We are a growing company in the medical industry, and we need someone who can keep pace with our rapid expansion. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years of experience in medical billing, cash posting, and handling various types of insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.

Responsibilities:

As a Medical Biller & Cash Poster, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Accurately posting payments and adjustments into the billing system.

2. Reviewing and analyzing insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for accuracy.

3. Processing insurance claims and patient bills.

4. Resolving any billing discrepancies or errors.

5. Working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance providers to ensure claims are submitted and processed correctly.

6. Maintaining a thorough record of all billing activities.

7. Assisting in the preparation of reports and financial statements.

8. Working closely with the team to implement strategies for increasing efficiency and accuracy in billing processes.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 1 years of experience in medical billing and cash posting.

2. Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, hospital billing, and provider billing.

3. Proficiency in using medical billing software and electronic health records.

4. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and rectify errors.

5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex billing issues.

6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

9. A degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
