About the position

Ventura MedStaff is seeking Remote Nurse Recruiters to join our team! Job Summary: As a Remote Nurse Recruiter with Ventura MedStaff, you will be responsible for prospecting, sourcing, developing, and retaining high-quality nursing and allied health professionals to support staffing needs across our client facilities. This is not limited to making outbound phone calls, sending out communication via texting and email, and the ability to utilize multiple platforms at a given time.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the company to travelers by highlighting our value, opportunities, negotiating pay packages, assignments, and contract terms to align traveler expectations with client requirements while upholding organizational standards and ensuring a positive and compelling candidate experience.
  • Prospect database and lead sources for new healthcare professional candidates.
  • Determine applicant qualifications -interviewing candidate, verifying references, comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Responsible for managing candidate through placement process-interview, travel, housing, assignment, and etc.
  • Retain and develop current candidates through extension process or reassignment of new location.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner while being solutions oriented.
  • Manages disciplinary action and terminations, Do Not Rehire of employees in accordance with state laws and company policy.
  • Manage the full work agreement lifecycle, including monitoring contract timeline, and processing updates involving rate changes, start dates, and other essential contract terms to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Provides high quality service to clients by teaming with the Nurse Client Management team and matching candidates skills with client/account needs.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Responsible for overseeing traveler timecards, including reviewing and approving time off requests, verifying and managing overtime, correcting missing punches, and ensuring all entries are accurate and submitted by required deadlines.
  • Responsible for consistently meeting established KPIs and achieving assigned sales goals by driving revenue-generating activities, maintaining a strong pipeline, and executing effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of traveler policies and guidelines to ensure alignment with company standards.

Requirements

  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Remote (Must reside more than 50 miles away from HQ in Omaha, NE; 2909 N. 118th Street, Suite 200, Omaha, NE 68164 to be considered for this remote opportunity)
  • Will be REQUIRED to complete their first 2 weeks of employment at HQ in Omaha, NE, contingent on a completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen.
