[Remote] Senior Technical Recruiter, Hardware

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Senior Technical Recruiter will operate independently as a subject matter expert to recruit top-tier talent and shape the long-term talent strategy for the Rocket Motor Systems recruiting team.


Responsibilities

  • Operate Autonomously: Serve as a trusted talent advisor for complex hiring across the RMS division to recruit for: Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Firmware Engineers, Product Managers, Program Managers, etc
  • Develop and optimize recruiting strategies using prospecting techniques, tools, and automation to continuously improve candidate management and data extraction processes
  • Collaborate closely with the talent acquisition team, hiring managers, and senior leadership to shape recruitment strategy, guide process improvements, and drive high-impact, complex hiring projects
  • Possess and apply breadth and depth in recruiting tools and general industry best practices, acting as a SME in adherence to process in our systems that impact our reporting and broader hiring strategy
  • Leverage a deep understanding of labor market and trends related to hiring
  • Own and execute pipeline direction, driving results through metrics-based measurement, including sourcing outreach, candidate-driven data, and offer/close rates
  • Exhibit extensive recruiting experience and in-depth knowledge paired with company hiring objectives to resolve complex talent problems and improve processes
  • Manage the hiring roadmap and execution to meet goals for multiple teams, effectively communicating objectives and priorities
  • Direct the application of existing principles and processes while guiding the development of new policies and ideas

Skills

  • BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in divisional hiring
  • Experience in startups, tech, and/or relevant hardware domains (AAV, UAS, AUV, Weapons, or related programs)
  • Demonstrated leadership in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with a focus on strategic stakeholder alignment
  • True Ownership: Accountability for outcomes, with a commitment to improving all aspects of the business
  • Proven ability to convey complex information in simple terms and drive a data-driven narrative
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of influencing organizational best practices
  • Deep knowledge of recruitment technology and a passion for innovating processes to achieve creative and effective TA goals
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Flexible and solution-oriented in troubleshooting routine obstacles
  • Direct, succinct, and timely sharing of information, with strong active listening skills
