Remote Technical Sales Representative
Centrix Control Solutions is expanding its team and has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales Representative responsible for promoting and supporting our world-class product lines. Based in Grande Prairie or Fort St John areas, the successful candidate will be responsible for a set territory covering a diverse group of customers including consultants, head offices, site personnel, and OEMs. Our core markets in this area include water & wastewater, pulp & paper, oil & gas.<br><br><ul><li>Technical Sales Representative for existing and new customer base in Grande Prairie and Fort St John areas.</li><li>Actively pursue new business opportunities to expand installed product market share.</li><li>Provide technical support on products and promote various Centrix service offerings.</li><li>Perform internal/external product seminars and presentations.</li><li>Increase sales and profitability in assigned territory.</li><li>Liaise with principal manufacturers.</li><li>Self-motivated, independent individual with the drive to constantly learn and promote new sales.</li><li>Work with difficult customers and resolve problems and issues.</li><li>Communicate and interact with customers in a professional manner.</li><li>Strong interpersonal & communication skills.</li><li>Computer skills; Microsoft Office suite.</li><li>Frequent travel between Grande Prairie and Fort St John areas.</li><li>Frequent travel out of town and overnight.</li><li>Quarterly Travel to Centrix offices for training, and product meetings.</li><li>Participate in industry associations.</li><li>Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical/Instrumentation Technology/Technician Diploma.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of industry experience within municipal, mining, and/or pulp & paper industries.</li><li>Previous technical sales experience is an asset.</li><li>Previous experience with valves and actuation in the water & wastewater, pulp & paper, oil & gas industry.</li><li>Clean drivers abstract with an affinity for safety.</li></ul>
