Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Saudi Arabia three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

The Role
The Retail Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in the execution of the retail marketing program for General Motors in Saudi Arabia, putting the customer at the center of everything we do. GM is fully committed to the automotive revolution and energized to create a movement toward a better, more sustainable future for all. This position is responsible for developing and facilitating all retail marketing and communication activity for Chevrolet and GMC, including strategies to achieve sales volume and market share objectives. The role collaborates closely with the dealer network on tactical activity and go-to-market planning, acts as a custodian for program guidelines, and manages the retail marketing budget. We are seeking a candidate whose passion for customers and performance matches our own.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute effective retail marketing and communications strategies that support target sales volumes and market share objectives for Chevrolet and GMC in Saudi Arabia. 
  • Collaborate with Dealers and internal Sales and Marketing teams on tactical initiatives, go-to-market plans, and Retail Launch Planner (RLP) activities. 
  • Manage, track, and report on the performance of all sales and marketing campaigns, including post-campaign analysis (PCA) and regular reporting on leads, conversion, sales, and stock. 
  • Oversee the retail marketing budget, ensuring strong return on investment and accurate forecasting, and support finance-related processing. 
  • Ensure adherence to Retail Marketing and Brand guidelines, reviewing Dealer marketing materials for compliance and effectiveness in consumer targeting and engagement. 
  • Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Dealers, Product Marketing, and Marketing sub-functions (Brand, Digital, CRM), ensuring consistent information flow and alignment on offers, pricing, and product priorities. 
  • Lead key retail tactical campaigns (e.g., Ramadan and Year-End), support in-market product activations and launches, and actively participate in workshops and agency sessions.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Marketing, preferably with a focus on retail marketing. 
  • Proven track record of executing successful retail marketing campaigns across multiple channels. 
  • Knowledge of Dealer business management and a strong understanding of regional consumer behavior, trends, and market dynamics in Saudi Arabia. 
  • Proficient in English and Arabic. 
  • Strong multi-tasking and negotiating skills, with polished presentation and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team culture.

  • Experience in the automotive industry and/or working directly with dealer networks. 
  • Proven strategic agility, with the ability to anticipate market trends and translate them into effective retail campaigns and communication strategies. 
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a history of working cross-functionally to manage and promote consumer brands and retail initiatives. 
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills, particularly in managing relationships with dealerships and multiple stakeholder groups. 
  • Prior experience with performance marketing, media planning, and integrating on-ground sales insights into always-on and tactical campaigns.
