Floor Attendants

The St. James is seeking Floor Attendants for its Super Awesome and Amazing center at The St. James’ flagship location in Springfield, Virginia.

As Floor Attendants you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer service while ensuring our guests have the most entertaining experience possible. Additionally, you will serve as an area monitor by working directly with guests to provide courteous, friendly, and professional assistance / education while enforcing safety regulations. You are the primary person responsible for the safety of everyone at our Active Entertainment Center. This position will report directly to the Manager of the Super Awesome and Amazing at The St. James.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies, practices and procedures
  • Provide extraordinary customer service consistent with The St. James’s brand standards
  • Greet our guest ENTHUSIASTICALLY
  • Explain the Active Entertainment Center floor and patron policies
  • Handle and enforce waiver policies
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
  • Support the safety of all members, guests and employees.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to provide excellent guest service in person and over the phone
  • Availability nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to speak in front of groups
  • Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment
  • Ability to inform guests of rules
  • Ability to handle money
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
  • Demonstrated multi-tasker with a commitment to superior guest service.
  • Ability to work a very flexible schedule that will include late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision required
  • Knowledgeable of safety training, procedures and best practices used throughout the sports and wellness industry.
