SailPoint Project Manager (Healthcare) - 100% Remote
<strong>Position Summary<br><br></strong>We are seeking an experienced SailPoint Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) initiatives using SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud within a healthcare environment. This role is responsible for driving IAM transformation programs that support regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH), protect patient data, and enhance operational efficiency across clinical and enterprise systems.<br><br>The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, deep understanding of IAM principles, and experience navigating the unique regulatory, clinical, and operational complexities of healthcare organizations.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Project Leadership & Delivery<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead end-to-end SailPoint implementation projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and post-go-live support. </li><li>Manage cross-functional teams including IAM engineers, security architects, clinical application owners, compliance officers, and third-party vendors. </li><li>Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk logs, issue trackers, and status reporting. </li><li>Ensure alignment with enterprise cybersecurity strategy and digital transformation initiatives. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Healthcare Systems Integration</strong> <br><br><ul><li>Oversee integration of SailPoint with:</li><ul><li>Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)</li><li>Active Directory / Azure AD</li><li>HR systems (e.g., Workday)</li><li>Clinical and revenue cycle applications</li></ul><li>Coordinate role-based access control (RBAC) design for clinical and non-clinical users. </li><li>Support provisioning, deprovisioning, and automated access certification processes. </li></ul> <strong>Compliance & Risk Management</strong> <br><br><ul><li>Ensure IAM controls align with:</li><ul><li>HIPAA Security Rule requirements</li><li>HITECH Act mandates</li><li>Internal audit and risk management standards</li></ul><li>Partner with compliance and audit teams to support access reviews and regulatory audits. </li><li>Mitigate segregation-of-duties (SoD) conflicts and enforce least-privilege access. </li></ul> <strong>Stakeholder Communication<br><br></strong><ul><li>Act as the primary liaison between IT, Security, Compliance, and Clinical leadership. </li><li>Provide executive-level reporting on project health, risks, and milestones. </li><li>Facilitate steering committee meetings and drive decision-making. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Change Management & Training<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead organizational change management efforts for IAM adoption. </li><li>Develop communication plans and coordinate training for system administrators and business users. </li><li>Promote IAM governance best practices across the enterprise. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Healthcare Informatics, or related field. </li><li>5+ years of project management experience, including 2+ years leading IAM or SailPoint implementations. </li><li>Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud. </li><li>Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, access certifications, and SoD controls. </li><li>Experience in a healthcare or highly regulated environment. </li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare security frameworks. </li><li>PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience working with large hospital systems, payer organizations, or integrated delivery networks (IDNs). </li><li>Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework and HITRUST. </li><li>Prior experience managing cloud identity integrations (Azure AD, Okta). </li><li>Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.</li></ul>
