Sales Associate

Coastal Culture is looking for passionate, enthusiastic Sales Associates to join our retail store on the Cavendish Boardwalk this summer! Our Sales Associates set the tone for our customer experience while fostering our core values of Passion, Teamwork, Integrity, and Excellence.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Welcome and assist customers in finding the perfect items.
  • Process sales, exchanges, and refunds.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, sales, and store policies.
  • Keep the store organized, stocked, and inviting.
  • Perform opening and closing duties of the store.
  • Work as part of a team to create an exceptional shopping experience.

We'll be looking for the following qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • A team player with attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Enthusiasm for outdoor apparel and Prince Edward Island life.
  • Ability to safely lift 30 lbs and move throughout the sales floor.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Previous experience working on a retail sales floor is an asset.
  • Proficiency with a cash register and handling cash transactions is an asset.
