Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paralegal to join our Non-Standard team, you will handle complex litigation and high-value cases across secured, unsecured, commercial, and property sales. As a Senior Paralegal, you will manage litigation cases from pre-action through to post-judgment, ensuring compliance with legal procedures, firm standards, and client SLAs. You will prepare legal documents, liaise with clients, customers, and courts. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a litigation-focused debt recovery process on behalf of clients
  • Prepare witness statements and complete court documentation as required
  • Ensure all work meets internal and client SLAs
  • Liaise with external third parties, agents, and representatives
  • Use internal case management systems effectively
  • Meet all key litigation deadlines
  • Maintain adherence to risk, compliance, and data accuracy standards
  • Stay updated on changes in law and best practice through training
  • Respond to client queries promptly and professionally

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Paralegal
  • Law degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and the legal system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage a large workload under time constraints
  • Strong organizational skills
