Job Description:Broadcom Mainframe Software Division (MSD) is looking for an experienced and self-driven Software Engineer for the z/VM Management Products team.
In this role, you will maintain and enhance Broadcom's suite of z/VM products that manage security, report management, and system automation on z/VM, including VM:Secure, VM:Backup, and VM:Spool. The position will involve a mix of development and technical support workloads.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Prior experience as a developer on z/VM or z/OS; z/VM preferred
Strong HLASM skills a must
Proficiency in REXX
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have legal authorization to work in the US
Additional Skills
C Programming skills
Experience with systems programming

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is$108,000 - $172,800
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
