Lantern is seeking a Salesforce Developer o join our healthcare technology team and help shape the future of our platform. In this role, you'll play a vital role at Lantern in enhancing and scaling our Salesforce Health Cloud platform to support our members' healthcare journeys. You will gather and translate business requirements into technical designs, build scalable solutions, and ensure our platform continues to support organizational goals.

We're looking for someone with deep Salesforce platform expertise—both declarative and programmatic, who proactively identify improvements, implements best practices, and collaborates with stakeholders across the organization.

Location: Remote, USA

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Configure declarative components (Flows, page layouts, record types, permission sets, assignment rules, reports, dashboards).
  • Ensure scalable data model design aligned with business needs.
  • Build and maintain integrations using Mulesoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and 3rd-party systems.
  • Manage Health Cloud features, data models, and care management workflows.
  • Oversee sandbox strategy, deployments, and change management processes.
  • Perform system maintenance, including release management, cleanup, and performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with Salesforce best practices.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and system configurations.
  • Provide user training and support, including managing support tickets.
  • Identify underutilized features or areas for optimization.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, and governor limits.
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • A minimum of 1+ year of experience working with other 3rd-party APIs and system integrations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and automated deployment tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud (SFHC)
  • Demonstrated experience with declarative configuration
  • Experience with Mulesoft Integrations

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data quality and platform integrity.
  • Deep understanding of how Salesforce supports business processes and CRM strategy.

Education and certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I, PDII (preferred).
  • Salesforce Administrator or Health Cloud certification (preferred).
  • MuleSoft Developer certification (preferred).
