We hope you will join us in this time of transformation and be a part of defining the next-generation cybersecurity capabilities for one of the largest global companies in the world. #Cyber Who We're Looking For Toyota's CSRM group is looking for team members who are passionate about technology and interested in joining a collaborative and highly motivated team as a Senior Engineer - Product Cybersecurity. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop foundational security software components, cryptographic services, and technology with the highest quality and security to protect the connected vehicle ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the person in this role will join the Product Cybersecurity Group to deploy security solutions for applications in a more connected vehicle environment. What You'll Be Doing • Software Development with emphasis on backend cloud services and cybersecurity best practices. • Design, develop, and debug complex software systems for the automotive sector. • Identify software defects; fix reported bugs and support operations. • Write unit tests and integration tests, and ensure code quality for your assigned work. • Collaboration and Teamwork • Work in an Agile scrum environment where your focus is on attending Sprint cadences and collaborating with your team to deliver software. • Work closely with stakeholders, team members, and the Scrum Master to ensure the delivery of committed User stories per Sprint. • Provide value-added research on automotive cybersecurity software and analysis to counsel management, solve connected vehicle ecosystem cybersecurity problems, and advise Managers as a strategic business partner. • Supports to provide value-added research & analysis, advice/counsel to management. • Makes basic contributions to management and solves intermediate to complex business problems. • Acts as a strategic business partner to Managers. What You Bring • Experience with writing scalable and secure code using best coding practices and design patterns. • Bachelor's Degree or higher in CS, EE, CECS, or equivalent, or equivalent professional experience • Highly proficient in a strongly typed language such as Golang, Java, .NET Core, C/C++, etc, with demonstration of writing enterprise-level applications. Go is what you will be developing on a day-to-day basis. • Direct experience developing with AWS core resources and technologies such as DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, SSM parameters, Secret Manager, AppConfig, etc. • Worked in an Agile scrum environment, whereby you participated in scrum cadences for the entire SDLC project Added Bonus If You Have • Experience building backend services in Golang that are deployed in AWS. • Experience working on SPA frontend applications using React. • CISSP, CISA, and/or relevant cybersecurity certifications. • Knowledge of applied cryptography, cryptographic algorithms, and proofs. • Domain expertise in cloud security, embedded security, and mobile application security. • Domain expertise in the automotive industry, quality, regulatory, product planning, or manufacturing processes.
