Position Summary
PiiComm Inc. is an Information Technology firm, located in Alfred-Plantagenet, ON, specializing in the design, sales and support of mobile technologies to help empower our business clients to mobilize their staff and optimize processes. This position requires an individual who is attentive to detail, has a positive professional attitude, and has the ability to work in a team environment efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Assisting with mobile device management for our clients
  • Perform device testing to diagnose equipment issues
  • Log hardware issues and device details with our in-house asset management system
  • Create Repair Merchandise Authorizations with the Manufacturers to have hardware repaired in a timely matter
  • Work to ensure the Team’s SLAs are being met
  • Stage hardware with client specific configurations and software
  • Fill work orders, or request for materials
  • Maintain inventory records in computerized Inventory Management System
  • Assist Shipping and Receiving as needed
  • Packaging outgoing shipments
  • Receive merchandise and match to sales order
  • Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution
  • Identify damage, loss, or surplus of merchandise stored in the warehouse
  • Continuously upgrade your knowledge with online courses provided by our vendors
  • Peer training
  • Other duties to be defined
  • On the job training will be provided

Skills and Qualifications
The qualified candidate must have:
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and keen attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Able to complete tasks within an allotted time frame
  • Overall accountability
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and standard office technology and equipment
  • Knowledge of mobile computing would be an asset
  • Flexibility to work extra hours as needed
  • This position is repetitive work with long periods of sitting or standing and heavy lifting

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM – 4:30PM
Working onsite with potential of multiple locations in Alfred-Plantagenet area
Compensation:
$40950 Annually ($21/hr)
3 weeks vacation
5 paid personal days
Group Health and Dental benefits after 3 months of continuous employment
