Signature Products Assistant

The farm kitchen prepares a variety of signature products unique to Cedar Circle. We are looking for an individual who can prepare and maintain an inventory of these products.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining inventory of signature products in farmstand
- Preparing, packaging and labelling signature products
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Communicating with Kitchen Manager on ordering ingredients
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is fast, efficient and able to work independently. Candidates must be able to follow recipes and make adjustments for quantity. Must be able to consistently re-create signature products by tasting and with practice. Applicants must be able to manage time efficiently and stay on task despite distractions in the kitchen. Applicants must be comfortable asking questions, receptive to constructive criticism and task redirection. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs and be comfortable spending a full shift on their feet. Kitchen experience preferred.
Compensation
The Signature Foods Assistant position is full-time and seasonal, from May through December, with benefits including paid sick leave, fresh produce, a 20% discount at our farmstand and cafe, access to an employee assistance program, and a 403(b) retirement plan with a 5% employer safe harbor match. Pay range is $15-17/hr, depending on experience. Ability to work the full season is a plus.
