Software and IT Report Writer
The Role
You will be responsible for producing high-quality written reports and documentation across a range of projects in the IT/Software, Life Sciences, Engineering and technical sectors. Working closely with analysts, subject matter experts, and consultants, you’ll translate complex data, research findings, and technical concepts into clear, accurate, and well-structured reports suitable for senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and format technical reports, and submissions.
- Translate scientific and technical material into accessible, professional language.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity across all written outputs.
- Collaborate with consultants and researchers to integrate findings effectively.
- Maintain document templates and contribute to continuous improvement of reporting standards.
About You
You’ll bring strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate technical content clearly and succinctly.
Essential skills and experience:
- Degree in software/I.T or technical discipline.
- Higher education qualification in Software/IT or technology based field.
- 2 years industry experience
- Exceptional written English and attention to detail.
- Experience preparing formal reports.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt writing for different audiences.
Desirable:
- Experience writing or contributing to R&D or technical reports.
- Experience in grant funded projects.
