This position sets up, designs and distributes planograms as well as updating floorplans when appropriate. Works with merchandising area(s) to successfully incorporate information to provide complete and accurate merchandising space direction for stores. Position will follow our hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in Downer's Grove IL office, Thursday-Friday remote. Some travel expected. What You'll Be Doing: Understands and incorporate information provided by Merchandising and ensure accuracy of all developed communication in accordance to the space planning strategy and guidelines. Works with Category Manager (CM) through iterations of Base planogram to verify optimized assortment and POG capacity meets the strategy and target goals. Makes recommendations for improvements in facings and assortment to address capacity opportunities. Creates and captures planograms, including working with the Buyer/Merchant and Merchandise Associate to set up the planogram in the planogram room at DC or in local store. Verifies item dimensions for new set to ensure product will fit on the fixture, critical to stores to ensure full execution. Communicates with CM if changes are necessary. Independently creates floor space strategies based on past layouts and trends. Responsible for presenting floor plan recommendations in category management review meetings. Creates additional versions of the planogram as needed. Makes revisions to planograms as needed. Creates final version of planogram including planogram cover notes provided by the CM. Reports and identifies anomalies to CM, KeHE/FT DC and Pricing to help facilitate their planning and ordering process. Transmits planograms to stores and merchants using the POP system. This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required. What You'll Bring With You (Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience. Previous merchandising and/or retail experience preferred. Understanding of planogram process and system software: JDA Space Planning/Intactix and Intactix Knowledge Base. 2+ years previous experience in creating, modifying or executing planograms. Ability to build reports, gather and interpret data for various reports, as appropriate. Knowledge of the retail industry; understanding of specific category product lines and core customer behavior. Results focused; use performance targets and goals to drive own activities as well as help team to succeed. Office computer skills; able to learn company systems and tools, preference for Microsoft application experience. Analytics skills. At Fresh Thyme, our team members Thrive. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location. $22.50 - $34.40 This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Specific pay rates will be within this range and based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team of this role. Compensation for this position also includes incentive bonus opportunities that may vary based on individual and company performance. Specific details will be discussed during the hiring process.
