Compensation: $80,000 - $140,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Represent clients in IRS and state tax audits, collections, and controversy matters under supervision. • Draft legal memoranda, IRS responses, and client-facing communications. • Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients at all times. • Provide bi-monthly client status updates — 100% communication compliance required. • Enter time and case activity contemporaneously in Clio (case management software). • Meet performance expectations aligned with firm KPIs and bonus eligibility. • Participate in all internal legal training programs, case meetings, and strategy sessions. Qualifications: • Experience in representing clients in IRS and state tax audits, collections, and controversy matters. • Ability to draft clear and concise legal memoranda, IRS responses, and client communications. • Proven track record of maintaining proactive and professional communication with clients. • Commitment to providing bi-monthly client status updates with 100% communication compliance. • Proficiency in using Clio or similar case management software for time and case activity entry. • Demonstrated ability to meet performance expectations aligned with firm KPIs and bonus eligibility. • Participation in internal legal training programs, case meetings, and strategy sessions to enhance expertise. • Tax planning experience.
