Technical Documentation Specialist

vServices Ltd is seeking a person with an experience of content development and writing the scope, plan and technical documentation for our IT services and solutions projects. You will be mainly managing internal documentation projects for the company’s technology/design, but you may also manage the documentation of projects for external customers. This role will be a mix of working from home and in the company Karachi office. As project resources are based in the UK, US and elsewhere abroad, you must be flexible as regards working hours.

Education – A degree in English Literature or BBIT, BIT, BCS

Experience – 2+ years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage central documentation library for Global Client Success department.
Writes and edits product manuals, user guides, software help, FAQs, brochures, presentations etc.
Create documents in Microsoft and Open office and PowerPoint presentations and provide assistance with document creation for technical staff.
Assist with vendor communication and visit coordination and RFP collection.
Working to put an Infrastructure Bible together, functional organizations, key systems supported, staff roles & responsibilities.
The role involves coordination and interaction with various stakeholders including Project Managers, Business Analysts and other technical resources writes text and documents that effectively meet the communication purpose and are aligned with the business and technical context
Develops or facilitates to develop web site content
Works closely with the training group to develop quality training material
May be required to develop technical specifications and other technical and process documents in coordination with relevant stakeholders
