Aufgaben

Your mission is to lead and manage the full life-cycle of our internal COPV product development projects, ensuring technical excellence and efficient execution from concept to serial production.

  • Own Internal Project Management: You are responsible for the entire project management of our new COPVs from initial component design and tool concept through prototype and series production, and additionally, open to managing other projects within the company.
  • Develop Technical Solutions: You evaluate new product ideas from a technical perspective, assist the team with developing robust production concepts, and calculating internal manufacturing costs.
  • Coordinate Execution: You manage all project activities, resources, and timelines, ensuring all technical and operational project goals are achieved successfully.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with our core internal teams: Part Design & FEM, Toolmaking, Materials & Processes, Production, and Quality Management.
  • Documentation & Standards: You ensure comprehensive project documentation and adherence to internal standards and quality requirements throughout the development process.
  • Internal Stakeholder Management: You act as the central point of contact, providing clear communication and aligning expectations across all internal departments involved in product development.

Profil
  • Manufacturing and Material Expertise: You are a proactive, solution-oriented project manager with deep expertise in advanced materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a similar technical field is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: You are quickly able to understand difficult technical problems and can challenge your project team on their decisions. You can guide the team to making sensible technical decisions and are comfortable with making technical decisions if needed.
  • Professional Experience: You bring several years of experience in product development and technical project management, ideally within the aerospace or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is needed to communicate effortlessly and precisely within the team; German is also nice to have.
  • Mindset & Skills: We look for someone who is quick on the uptake, possesses strong analytical skills, and demonstrates a practical, solution-oriented approach to complex technical challenges. A high level of ownership for your tasks is a must.
  • Communication & Drive: Strong communication and organizational skills, coupled with a hands-on approach to problem-solving, will complete your profile.
  • Composites Expertise: Possessing in-depth knowledge of fiber composite materials and their associated manufacturing processes (e.g., winding, RTM, pressing, laminating) is nice to have.
