Title: Technical Writer- Sled- Remote Location: VA-ARLINGTON Job Type: Contract Category: Technical Writer Req : DC0-f270b99b-9c18-47ae-a00e-0b9aac53c471 Pay Rate:$54 - $68 (hourly estimate) Job Description: -Interviews technical and program management personnel to create proposal content that addresses management, implementation, and transition plans for major federal programs. -Experience evaluating government Statement of Work (SOW) and creating effective winning proposal responses. -Organizes material and completes writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. -Reviews published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content. -Maintains records and files of work and revisions for easy retrieval -Develops and/or selects photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate process and procedures and enhance written text. -Familiar with Government Printing Office GPO and appropriate Style Manuals, AP, etc. -Synthesizes complex or diverse information, collects and researches data, and uses intuition and experience to complement data. -Generates creative solutions, translates concepts and information into images, and uses feedback to modify designs. -Gathers and analyzes information skillfully and works well in group problem solving situations. -Completes projects on time and budget. -Responds promptly to internal client needs, solicits client feedback to improve service, responds to requests for service and assistance, and meets commitments. -Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
