MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally.</span></p><p></p><p>Under general direction of the Corporate Transportation Director, responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of existing Transportation processes and customer delivery for all aspects of transportation including but not limited to: parcel, LTL (less than truckload), FTL (full truckload), carrier deliveries at local, regional and national impact., ensuring carrier performance and Cencora objectives are aligned. Recommends and contributes to improved strategies in order to reduce cost as a result of these efforts. Supports transportation directors and managers through direction of Corporate Transportation initiatives.</p><ul><li><p>Manages the courier base: focusing on overseeing daily deliveries to customer base and handling any issues that arise.</p></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p><span>Works closely with carrier partners, forward distribution centers and Cencora/MWI departments to manage any issues related to claims, payment, delivery issues, and related needs.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Works closely with the Commercial Sales teams to incorporate new customer opportunities into the tote delivery initiatives.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Monitors and reports shipment statuses of all daily outbound shipments.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Develops SOP’s that ensure all carriers follow the proper policies and procedures when delivering end mile customer orders</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Develops and maintains dashboard that will analyze daily/weekly/monthly transportation KPIs (key performance indicators)</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Works closely with carrier partners, forward distribution centers, and Cencora/MWI departments, to manage/resolve any issues related to claims.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Works with carriers and Transportation Managers as needed to improve various aspects of performance, to be managed and reported by carrier scorecard.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Proficient in data acquisition from various transportation management systems which include but not limited to: WMS, SCALE, XT, TMS, PKMS, IBS, Power BI, FourKites, Green Mountain, and other systems or data sources as needed or added.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Analyzes and performs freight & lane characteristics to ensure customers are systemically assigned to the optimal carrier and sourcing policies for end mile delivery.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Works to continuously improve business processes and designs by developing and providing data that results in the implementation of initiatives that reduce cost, improve effectiveness and enhance customer experience.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Supports new carriers onboarding and technology partners as needed.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Supports in managing all carrier contracts, depot address, and depot inspection database for all carriers.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Supports in preparing and gathering data and requirements for transportation request for proposal’s (RFP’s) and carrier conversions.</span></p><p></p></li><li><p><span>Conducts carrier hub audits in both in person and remote as needed.  </span></p></li><li><p><span>Upon direction from Transportation Managers, prepare and conduct uploads for areas of XT routing, sourcing policy and Manner of Transport (MOT) creations.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Experience: </b></p><ul><li>Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.</li><li>Experience in the preparation of, or responding to, RFP’s and RFQ’s in a transportation environment.</li><li>Knowledge of logistics, ideally has previous experience in transportation.</li><li>Ability to effectively present information to all organizational levels; hourly associates, supervisors, upper management, and external groups related to the industry.</li><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.</li><li>Exposure to courier industry and/or pool distribution environments helpful, small package, LTL, and TL experience a plus.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education: </b></p><ul><li>Normally requires minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills and Knowledge: </b></p><ul><li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing</li><li>Knowledge of ABC policies, programs & services and products</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Excellent negotiating skills</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Strong mathematical skills</li><li>Strong organizational skills;
