Vendor Manager, Canada Consumables
<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>The Amazon.ca Consumables team is seeking a self-driven Vendor Manager to support our Vendor Management team and our vendor partners. Vendor Managers work directly with vendors to improve value, selection and convenience across their business. They play a critical role in managing strategic and established brands to drive profitability and top line performance for their category. The candidate will use customer obsession and analytics to drive their business, engaging with multiple internal teams to optimize product line performance for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.ca.</p>
<p>The Vendor Manager will collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, such as site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to drive performance for our Amazon.ca vendor partners.</p>
<p>This position provides the opportunity to execute analytical deep dives that inform category growth strategies and initiatives. It offers exposure to driving category growth and developing strong functional skills in online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning/forecasting, pricing, and business analytics. Vendor Manager roles are in the General Management career path at Amazon and provide advancement opportunities to more senior roles in Marketing/Merchandising, Vendor Management, Product Management and Inventory Management. This position can be located in either Seattle or Toronto, CA.</p>

<p>The Canada Consumables Vendor Management team manages relationships with top vendors in the Beauty, Grocery, Health and Personal Care and Baby spaces for Canada. We collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to add value to customers and grow a sustainable business in the space. Consumables continues to be the growth engine for Amazon Canada Retail. <h3>Basic Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions</li>
<li>Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements</li>
<li>Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development</li>
<li>Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices</li>
<li>Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences</li>

<p>The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
