As the Vice President of Operations for Lifestyle Entertainment, reporting to the SVP, Group GM of Lifestyle, you will help shape the future of live service, cross-platform, and social multiplayer experiences that bring players together across the globe. You'll partner with Studio General Managers, Operations Leaders, and cross-functional teams to guide strategy, planning, and execution across our Lifestyle portfolio. Your leadership will empower teams to innovate, collaborate, and deliver inclusive, engaging, and enduring entertainment experiences for diverse global audiences . This position can be based Hybrid in one of our West Coast studios - EA Redwood Shores, Chatsworth, Del Rey, Kirkland WA, or Vancouver Canada What You'll Do • Lead operational strategy for a portfolio of live service and social multiplayer games, ensuring smooth delivery, sustainable growth, and connected player experiences. • Partner with studio and functional leaders to drive operational excellence, improve live-ops frameworks, and strengthen cross-platform systems. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning to balance quality, creativity, and efficiency. • Champion a player-first, people-first culture that values collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement. • Mentor and grow Operations and Development leadership talent across studios, fostering an inclusive, high-performing environment. • Use data and insights to inform decisions, track success metrics (DAU/MAU, retention, engagement), and guide long-term portfolio health. What We're Looking For • 10+ years of leadership experience in live service, cross-platform, or multiplayer game operations (or equivalent entertainment services). • Proven ability to align creative and technical strategies across multiple studios and product lines. • Deep knowledge of game development pipelines from mobile to arenaflex AAA titles, live-ops systems, and player engagement models. • Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing large-scale budgets. • Empathetic and inclusive leader with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. • Comfortable navigating change, guiding transformation, and inspiring teams to deliver their best work. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. PAY RANGES • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco): º $309K- $370K USD Annually • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $310K CAD $350K CAD Annually • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): º $309K- $370K USD Annually Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
