Warehouse Operative - Distribution & Logistics

<p>GBR Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working exclusively with a major Distribution & Logistics company based in Central Lincolnshire recruiting for an experienced permanent <strong>Warehouse Operative (several vacancies)</strong> to join their well established team, working <strong>mainly Days & Late shifts</strong>, but there will be<strong> some Night shift working too</strong> (nights is on call / standby only, so you will sometimes be called to work & sometimes you will stay at home on full pay). </p> <p><strong>APPLICANTS MUST HAVE STRONG IT / WMS SKILLS </strong>as lots of warehouse systems usage / administrative tasks involved in this role </p> <p><strong>Flexibility in terms of hours you are prepared to work is a must</strong>, as the client works a <strong>4 week roster system</strong> with different start & finish times, across differing week days. </p> <p>Days shifts will be 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday, Lates will be 11:30 - 20:00 Monday to Friday & Nights will be 20:00 - 08:00 Thursday, Friday & Sunday or Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday, with shifts being week 1 on Days, weeks 2 & 3 paid on call for Nights (paid if you work or not) & week 4 on Lates, makes up the 4 week roster. </p> <p>As a Warehouse Operative / MHE Operator (PPT / LLOP) you will be responsible for the movement of stock between Put away / Stock Consolidation / Pick & Pack, plus working in Dispatch too, sending out finished Picks. </p> <p><strong>Duties:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Receive deliveries of stock, check quantities & put stock away. </li> <li>Receive deliveries of bulk stock, checking quantities, recording the receipt of the products & passing on the paperwork to the Supervisor.</li> <li>Keep the warehouse racking systems / shelves restocked from bulk storage.</li> <li>Work as part of a small team to achieve set targets / KPI's.</li> <li>Rework & re-label & bar code stock as necessary.</li> <li>Pick & pack customer orders in readiness for dispatch. </li> <li>Dispatch all orders with appropriate paperwork. </li> <li>Assist in Loading & Unloading lorries.</li> <li>General duties as requested by the Supervisor. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Attributes: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Warehouse experience, within a fast paced operation. </li> <li>MHE (PPT / LLOP) operating experience would be ideal. </li> <li>Experience of using RF Scanners & Computer literacy</li> <li>Used to working continental shift patters</li> <li>Happy to work unsociable hours (lates, nights, weekends).</li> <li>Happy to undertake a DBS check (all workers have to do this).</li> </ul> <p><strong>A DBS check is required for this role</strong> due to the nature of the working environment / products. </p> <p>Please note that working conditions may include regular evening & weekend work, shift work, working outdoors, working with challenging clients & in a highly targeted fast paced environment.</p> <p>This role is commutable from Lincoln, Navenby, Washingborough, Bracebridge Heath, Waddington, North Hykeham, South Hykeham, Saxilby, Nettleham, Newark, Newark, Sleaford, Grantham & other areas close to these. </p> <p>Interviews to take place immediately. </p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
