Warehouse Shipping / Receiving Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This is a Part Time position - M/W/F 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in a distribution center environment and possess strong skills in shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments, including loading and unloading packages.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock effectively.
  • Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving operations.
  • Assist with e-commerce order fulfillment, ensuring prompt delivery of products to customers.

Experience

  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles within a distribution center is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with clean record.
  • Assist with deliveries when needed.
  • Able to lift and stock - Pallets and boxes up to 30 lbs.
  • Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of package handling procedures and best practices for shipping/receiving operations.
