Customer Project Manager and Order Coordinator

Scope

 

Ensure successful execution of customer orders by consistently delivering projects on time, within scope, and within cost, while maximizing customer satisfaction and strengthening long-term customer relationships.

 

Core Processes and Key Responsibilities

 

  • Execute and manage the customer order portfolio in full compliance with company processes, from project handover after tendering to project close-out, ensuring on-time and in-full delivery.
  • Act as the single point of contact for customers during the order execution phase, proactively managing expectations and ensuring clear, timely communication.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Project Engineering, Sales, Project Buyers) to ensure alignment and efficient execution.
  • Plan, enter, monitor, and control customer orders, tracking progress, milestones, and deliverables against agreed timelines.
  • Review customer requests and translate them into clear operational actions, evaluating feasibility, impact on cost and schedule, and ensuring timely decision-making.
  • Manage Variation Orders and Claims, safeguarding company margins while maintaining a constructive customer relationship.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and opportunities, driving corrective actions to protect delivery performance.
  • Support the preparation and execution of FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) activities to ensure customer approval and smooth handover.
  • Drive internal communication and alignment, ensuring all involved departments are focused on delivery performance and customer commitments.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Experience in Order Management, with a focus on delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Project Management skills, including planning, risk management, and progress reporting.
